Candles are the perfect gift. Scents that are plant-based just make… sense. I always keep a few on hand to give as hostess gifts, last-minute birthday presents or “just because” gifts.

Most candles are not vegan as they contain beeswax, or hardening agents like stearic acid which are typically animal-derived. Fortunately, there are a range of candles that are vegan, incorporating clean ingredients with luxury level scents.

As a Canadian girl, I love that Natura Soy is a Canadian business. I love the company’s Pink Peony scent, but when gifting, I realize that scent is such a personal thing so I go for an unscented candle. It has all the flicker and warm glow, but without the scent. Unscented candles are great around the dinner table.
